About Us

"Appleyards" fits with the previous name of our building, “Appleyards House”.

"Bible” makes clear our aim of making the Bible and its teaching known in an age where knowledge of it is limited.

“Church” is to distinguish us as Christians.

We are an independent evangelical group of Christians, not linked to any denomination, body or organisation.

We seek to follow the teaching of the Bible in our lives and in how we meet together.

History: Our church was known previously as Denne Road Gospel Hall and traces its meeting in Denne Road, Horsham back to 1863.
